3D Character modelling

Time for an update on how modelling the character is progressing. I sculpted his head in ZBrush, retopologised it in Maya, then added a stylish pair of glasses and polymesh hair. Then it was time to model the rest of him, like the coat he wears.







I went back to 2D drawing, to draw up some new reference images for modelling.


And returned to these drawings from months ago.





I absolutely loved modelling these robotic legs, and the gun for an arm. (They're not bevelled yet.) Modelling clothing was also a new challenge. I wanted to go for something smart-casual that'll compliment his colour scheme once I start texturing.
